Brand Etymology

Thistle refers to a pastel purple shade which is invariably pleasing to all eyes and we have tastefully adopted this as our brand identity. Thistle, being the national flower of Scotland, is said to represent nobility and royalty. The flower is also said to represent devotion, bravery, determination and strength, which are in tandem with our core values

Devika Sankar

Founder – Chef

Devika Sankar, the Founder-Chef of Thistle Bakeville, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management from a premier university in India. She has gained professional exposure at various 5 Star Hotel chains, notably The Taj, The Oberoi, and The Leela Group. She was in-charge of the Chocolate division at The Leela Palace, Bengaluru, during her tenure. Her exposure in these professional kitchens have really reflected in the design and hygiene standards of the pastry kitchen.
